Opening in 1993
Denis Fortin and Louise Pelletier created StarPub Produk Enr. in 1993 in a small location in St-Jean-Port-Joli located not far from the current location. In 1995, the location being too small, the store moved to the current building and changed its name to La Griffunrie.
Opening of the Galeries Montmagny branch
In 2001, we opened a branch in Montmagny. This branch offered games, toys and hobbies for all ages. It closed its doors on December 31, 2020 due to the relocation of Dollarama shopping center to our location and the neighboring one.
Shareholder in Office Pro
Our stationery banner having been sold to another distributor a few years earlier, we decided to become a shareholder in Office Pro Canada in 2017. The purchasing power of our group allowed us to offer our commercial and retail customers:

Expansion in 2018
In 2018, due to a severe lack of storage space, we made an expansion allowing us to increase the space in our warehouse and also the sales area.
24/7 Contactless Pickup
In August 2021, due to the pandemic and the increase in online sales, we installed a smart locker outside the store to allow contactless pickup of online orders, 24/7. We were also the first to install such a system in all of Eastern Quebec.
House Brand
In 2023, due to a merger within our purchasing group, we are now able to offer our customers our house brand Basics.
