Description
When a new resident, Albert, moves into the retirement home (RPA), the lives of Berthe and the other residents are disrupted. Albert's sense of wonder and his many activities clash with the environment of the residence where trivial conversations and conformism weigh down the atmosphere. Without bothering with the rectitude that the other residents would like him to respect, Albert brings a breath of fresh air around him, particularly in the world of Berthe with whom he develops a sincere friendship. During his conversations with Berthe, he shares his vision of relationships, spirituality, the passage of time, mutual aid, service to others and nature. Above all, he inspires in her a new conception of life and rekindles in her a curiosity about life. However, not all the residents share Berthe's enthusiasm for Albert and his ideas. Torn between a budding friendship and the recriminations of the other residents, Berthe struggles to take on what Albert teaches her. However, a major event will occur and lead to an unexpected outcome.
