Description
Cora is a born winner. Nothing seems to hinder her professional rise in the finance sector or jeopardize her upcoming departure for Toronto, in order to secure a major promotion.
As for the Belmont Cup, a family competition held during the holidays, the story is quite different: she's never won. It's a failure she hasn't gotten over, and one she's determined to rectify. This year, however, to have a chance at winning, Cora intends to find a partner as ambitious as she is. One small catch: he'll have to agree to play the role of her boyfriend for a few days.
Pressed for time, she recruits Lambert, a carefree bon vivant with a winning smile. Between ski races, mischievous pranks by elves, and secret contests orchestrated by her cousin Daphnée—her lifelong rival—the young woman discovers in her teammate a caring, patient, and understanding guy who, to her great delight, is ready to do anything to ensure their team is crowned champion... Even when some challenges take a dubious, or even downright illegal, turn! What if winning Christmas meant, above all, opening her heart and embracing the unexpected?
