For nearly two years, Kiera has been in a peaceful romantic relationship with Denny, a caring, tender, and devoted boyfriend. A perfect life together is on the horizon. But nothing is ever that simple in love... When Denny gets his dream job, Kiera follows him across the country and continues her studies. They then move in with Kellan, a rock singer and incorrigible lady-killer. Kiera, a waitress at the bar where he performs, is troubled by his lingering glances, to the point that her nice boyfriend seems rather bland. The latter, a studious and courageous guy, is nevertheless not lacking in qualities. When Denny announces that he has to leave for two months for his job, it is Kellan who consoles Kiera.
