Enter a world where anything is possible… Sarah, a bookseller in a small village in the Charente region of France, is struggling to make ends meet. Between the building's temperamental plumbing, the crumbling walls, and her notorious inability to resist buying every secondhand book she can get her hands on, her finances are in dire straits. So, when a friend offers her a rather surprising but very lucrative arrangement, she barely hesitates before accepting. It's agreed: she will house Maxime Maréchal, an actor as famous for his bad-boy roles as for his run-ins with the law, so that he can discreetly complete his community service in the bookstore. If the actor can survive exile in the provinces and odd jobs, she should be able to welcome a living being into her world of ink and paper… A moving encounter between two people who are complete opposites but united by the same desire: to live their dreams.
