The Mysteries of Quebec 01: The Henry Cross Affair

Description

A sordid murder is committed in a cemetery in eastern Quebec in May 2019. An anonymous letter links this crime to 19th-century Irish conspiracies. That's all it takes for Rivière Valois, a journalist looking for a sensational story, to travel to Saint-Jean-Port-Joli and investigate. He will discover, however, that this mystery hides another: an Irish emissary came to Quebec in 1840, entrusted with a top-secret mission that would even implicate the Patriotes. He disappeared without a trace. What happened? Rivière will try to find out and discover who this enigmatic Henry Cross is, behind the whole affair.
