At 15, Liv's world crumbles. A former equestrian champion, her Olympic dreams were abruptly cut short by a tragic accident a few months earlier. The talented rider has lost a part of herself. Rejected by her friends, separated from her beloved horse, and unable to pursue her passion, she feels like she's lost everything. When her parents talk about buying a horse rehabilitation center in California, Liv agrees to move and start over. There, she meets Joshua, a Mexican teenager with whom she quickly forms a close friendship. But most importantly, Liv encounters Lucky, a vulnerable horse whose fate remains uncertain. The young girl and the animal create a special connection instantly. But will this budding relationship be enough to heal these two beings wounded by life?
