In this book, he recounts events from his life that shed light on the impacts of his mental health challenges. He also addresses several medical and social aspects concerning autism spectrum disorder (the diagnostic process, social masking, a higher suicide rate than in the general population, barriers to employment, etc.).

His goal is twofold: to individually and collectively invite us to evolve by changing our perception of autism, and to encourage changes in social policies regarding autistic individuals.
