Description
Iris Lépine has just received her long-awaited iPod for her birthday. Her friend Emma, who shares her excitement about the new device, takes it from her hands and begins to examine it closely.
"There's something wrong!" she shouts. "Are you sure it's new? It looks scratched."
She's right: the glass isn't perfect. It's even a little dirty. And the case is worn along the side.
- I don't know where my mother bought it...
The girl taps so fast on the screen that Iris has trouble keeping up. After a moment, Emma opens her mouth in shock.
- What now? Iris asks worriedly.
- Not only is it used, but it hasn't been reset!
- What does that mean?
Emma quickly runs the tip of her tongue over her lips to moisten them before spitting it out:
- It's simple. It means that your iPod still has photos, videos, music, and even messages that belong to its previous owner. Their whole life is here!
