Description
Colyne and weddings are far from a love affair. When her boyfriend chooses one of them to get down on one knee and propose in front of two hundred people, she realizes their relationship is doomed. Colyne then discovers the joys of a breakup, like… finding a new place to live. She becomes roommates with Axel, a party animal, a bachelor determined to stay that way, and with whom she shares little besides a dislike for family gatherings. During the summer season, invitations are pouring in, and Colyne, feeling indebted to Axel, agrees to be his plus-one for a baby shower. What follows is a series of weddings and various celebrations on the French Riviera, during which the two roommates will learn to stick together and face increasingly chaotic events. Popping balloons or a collapsing wedding cake can create a beautiful bond, but is that enough to change one's perspective on relationships and marriage? Perhaps instead of being alone, one simply needs to be in good company?
