Laurianne managed to save the Mountain, but the necessary electromagnetic pulse caused unforeseen collateral damage. No one could have imagined that the EMP would be so powerful! The players hold Laurianne largely responsible for their misfortune. Stargrrrl has thus become the number 1 enemy, the target to be taken down. This new reality makes it almost impossible for Laurianne to connect to the League servers. At least, for a while. This break from The Mercenary League forces her to devote her energy to another project, because she and Gabryelle have discovered that Maxime Peterson is nothing more than a pawn. The former KPS employee was manipulated by the Spectre in order to sabotage the League Championship finals in Seoul. And the hacker group now wants him to infect the KPS servers. In order to save the studio and prove that Damien Wolfe and Kronos are the real sponsors of the espionage attempt, Laurianne and Gabryelle will try to reprogram the virus and infect the Spectre in turn.
