Description
EDIBLE AND MEDICINAL WILD PLANTS OF QUEBEC is a guide to harvesting and preserving more than 100 of the most commonly used plants that live in deciduous forests, boreal forests or in the open tundra.
Very popularized, this first edition brings together the information usually found in several works; it is aimed at beginners, but can very well be used by professionals. In order to reassure novice pickers, each plant is presented with a photo and its essential characteristics. As a bonus, each of them reveals its personality or its history through a short text.
A detailed calendar completes the information essential for a planned and safe harvest.
Target customers:
* Beginner or experienced pickers
* Herbalists
* Liquorists and microbrewery owners
* All the curious eager to discover these riches of our forests, our lawns, our salty or freshwater aquatic environments. A particular emphasis is placed on the sharing of knowledge between the First Peoples and the first settlers in the 16th century.
