Discovering Mosses and Other Bryophytes in Quebec is the very first introductory guide to Quebec mosses. These small plants are found everywhere: under our feet, on rocks, on rotting wood, on tree bark and even in urban areas, between the cracks in sidewalks or on the roof of a shed! Intended for beginners, this guide describes 64 species that are relatively easy to identify in the field. The Société québécoise de bryologie is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote scientific activities related to bryology. The editorial team is composed of 5 bryologists: Nils Ambec, Marion Barbé, Carole Beauchêne, Marc Favreau and Martine Lapointe.
